AUTOCAR on TVR
Discussion
Just read the report on TVR in this week's AUTOCAR. What a piece of lackluster editorial junk. Manages to make it sound like one of the most boring enterprises on the planet. Totally devoid of to-die-for images of TVR exotica - who wants to see sepia-toned pictures of fork-lift trucks and piles of chassis tubing in an article about TVR? Quote of the piece was Ben Samuelson's "We believe our cars are safer without airbags..". Oh please!
Edited to edit a Freudian slip... I meant TVR Exotica!!

Haven't seen it but in the defence of the magazine design brigade I'd say who wants to see yet more pics of TVRs from more angles - search on the net of you want that - was this a piece about the factory then? If so, pics of fork lifts and the like was probably fine to illustrate the article - except believe me, pics of factories in colour look sh1te, take the colour out and desaturate/sepia effect them etc and they look quite good ...
IMO anyway.

Read the piece. Didn't have much GRAVITAS to it.
The article mentions the desire to export more--to where?
Some of the articles (Caterham, I believe) spoke about SVA--how does this impact TVR? Does this explain the model line up?
Being in the USA, we get Autocar one week later.
Autocar could have done better.
