Used a hot melt glue gun for the first time on the weekend for sticking a few bits of carpet and trim back where they belong. Very impressed. Lot less hastle than impact adhesive. Highly recommended for sticking the niggly things. Much better result than I expected and less messy too Only drawback is that it will be crap for under bonnet heat shield obviously.

Give it a few weeks and you won't be quite so impressed. Trust me before I actually got round to fixing it, Hot melt used to hold my mini together.

I used this stuff to stick the trim together on my first Westfield, and I was very impressed with it too! As far as I know (it's been siting under a cover on my parent's driveway for the last few years) it's all still stuck together!
