My car is a Griff 4.3BV witch has covered 57,000 miles,
I’m getting a noise from the engine that sounds like a sticking cam follower,
due to the mileage I have decided to replace the cam and followers

I’m thinking of fitting a V8 Developments MC1 cam,
I will also be fitting S/S exhaust manifolds and Y piece as supplied by ACT
The car is only used on the road and not for track days

Should I go with this cam or stick with the original cam as fitted ? I don’t wont a car
that is unpleasant to drive at low speeds.
If I fitted the MC1 would I then need to have a Mark Adams chip.

I know this subject has been covered before but would appreciate your input

regards
Scott

Change the cam and you need a rechip as the standard fuelling will not be set up for the different cam.
