Took the Cerb out for a drive today. Out for about 1.5 hours and it was driving great. When we got back, we had to do some car swapping to get at the garage. The Cerb was idling for 2-3 minutes. As my dad backed it down into the drive,he heard a 'bubbling' sound and then there was steam from under the bonnet followed by a little river of coolant. It lost about 1-1.5 litres of coolant, but after topping up didn't lose any more, and the temp guage had been reading a normal temp the whole time. Is this something we should be worrying about or is it simply a coolant overflow? (The leak was at the coolant bottle - there was a puddle of coolant underneath it on the body).

We had this recently and it turned out to be the plastic inner seal inside the coolant cap. If you manipulate it and then just replace the cap squarely on the chamber you should be ok. The other advice we were given is do not overfill the coolant bottle - there is a ridge about the length of your longest finger below the cap ad this is the approximatelevel you need. regards
