Just been out for drive and forgot about the splitter (haven’t bent it for ages) it didn’t like being used as a snow plough and eventually enough was enough

Moral:- Take your splitters off before the snow does it for you.

what the are you on about????? There's no splitttter on my Griff.....


then again I don't have an eidetic memory of all those old Python films. Is this a requirement of owning V8 TVRs>?>>>>

No, but it helps.

Splitters are an after market job. They help force more air up through the lower grill towards the rad to improve the cooling. My 4ltr has the twin fan upgrade and has never had any problems with over heating so I've never bothered fitting one.

The small strip of ali pop-riveted under the nose located just behind the lower air intake is commonly known as the splitter.
