worrying trend

As per my previous thread, after I discovered the window was stuck (in the p*ssing rain) there was a desparate scramble to get the Cerb into the garage. It was made a bit more difficult in that the garage had temporarily been taken over by the people refitting our bathroom...

Anyway, once inside I decided it was time to sort a few things out, like fitting the new wiper blades, and the 'bling bling' tax disc holder. Got some chocolate block today so I can wire in the smoked side repeaters (got the univeral LED ones instead of the bulbed Fiesta Mk3 ones). Checked the oil and coolant levels this morning. Bought a set of trackday wheels last weekend off a fellow PH-er. Got a trolley jack and a socket set on the Christmas list. Dismantled the door and window control box and araldited back the connectors that had come loose from the Maplins-style case.

Then I thought: am I becoming one of those people who spends all day pottering around their car in the garage?

This is not me -- I'm normally a mechanical ignoramus, a "jump in it and go" sort of guy

They all respond to a bit of TLC and pay you back in spades for it, well thats what I tell myself when I'm stuck on my back under the car whilst its on axle stands and its bloody freezing to boot
