Warning: Topless after snowfall

Word of warning:
If you're going to go out roof-down (sorry...when you go out roof down....) always clear the snow and particularly the thin sheets of ice from the bonnet first.
Didn't do this yesterday....the ice broke off the bonnet when I got over 50mph, shattererd as it hit the windscreen and then got sucked back into the car as it passed over the roof.
I suppose it's a nice Christmas snow effect but the pieces can be a bit sharp on the already chilled ears! Maybe I'll buy a santa hat?
