Does anyone get this mag?
If so would you recommend it?
Is it readily available in the shops, or a subscriber job?

The questions have now stopped.
Thanks Guys.

John.

Yep, good mag it's usually available in most WH Smiths.
If you're looking for a particular type of porker you might want to scan each issue and decide as you go.

Contains interesting running reports and features. Also gets you the web addresses of lots of Porsche specialists / aftermarket tuning / private sales etc

Having got this mag yesterday, I was not hugely impressed. as a boxster owner I dont think it is particulary aimed at me, however if I need a secondhand radiator for a 1987 944, I will know were to go now...
Perhaps I am being over critical, I will try it next month and see what the content is....

Probably true john. It's one of those that I scan before I buy. To someone like me who is still sitting on the fence waiting to buy a car it's been useful for getting dealer details etc etc.

Would be good to have a purely 911 magazine without the 80's dross.

Roadrunner,

What about the '80s 911s then? For a mag to survive these days it has to appeal to a broad spectrum, therefore most of the 'one make' mags for Porsche, BMW, VW etc have to cover the entire range.

I bought this months and didn't think it was that bad.

Cheers,
JSG.

Yes, I understand fewer mags would sell if the target audience were to become more selective / focused on 911's only. Probably end up costing £10 an issue to retain the same profits. An ideal solution would be the following magazines split chronologically:

Classic Porsche World

Rubber Whaletail Monthly

21st Century Porsche

McNab

Although I am not obsessed with any particular make of car I do enjoy this mag. You can't expect every issue of everything to focus on your specific interest!

Roadrunner, even I wasn't being as partisan as that!
Just hoping for a bit of Boxster info soon....
