I'm tempted by a little jaunt up the M1. I've never seen Britcar before and the grid sounds pretty diverse which should make for some good racing. Not sure about the weather though. The forecast for Saturday looks miserable. Any idea if the grandstands will be open?

Have you got any more info on whats going on up there at all? I'm not too far away so might take a drive up with the little one, but any info you have on tickets and schedule for the day would be good.

Thanks!

Waaaaah, you're going to be 20 minutes from my house and I'll be away for the weekend!

Don't think I'm ever going to see your seats!

Dont know about tickets.. if you call Topcats they might have a couple (please dont steal mine!)

As it's not a big Touring car or GT day I dount the tickets will be an arm & a leg anyhow.

Hopefully I'll be meeting with Blue Satin in his Ultima around Henley area, if anyone fanices a convoy there ?! Through Buckingham town (ha ha!) & down along that goegeous Stow school alley

Starting from Herts so I'll be heading straight up the M1. I'll keep 'em peeled for a Griff and an Ultima though. I don't think you'll be too hard to spot!Besides that, I don't think my chariot would do a very good job of keeping up - although if it's raining

I'll be hungover & carrying a camera with a ludricously long lens, most likely. Have promised Topcats will take a bunch of the car in action.. wonder is we can access the pits.. would be good

Have a chat with Charlotte, I'm sure she can get you into the pits. (Might have to take a cloth and look busy though )

Well, met with Guy in High Wycombe.. convoyed to the Home of British Motor Racing.. froze, got wet, and blown all over the place. Oh and the TVR 2 seater wasnt there. Perfect day

A pretty good meet I though despite the weather and lack of TVR's. Britcar was a manic couple of hours but the highlight for me was the historic sportscars - or rather the noise they made

I'll some pictures posted ASAP. Watch this space.

Cracking meeting. Was my mates first and he was mightily impressed with the historic cars, particularly the Listers (mmmm, Chevy )

Brilliant, just brilliant. Picked up the pictures from a well known high street developer this weekend. Didn't get prints, just straight onto a CD (quite reasonable it was too) and what did I get? Thirty seven shots of someone's baby.

I'm going back to create a bit at the cretin behind the counter but I don't hold out much hope of getting my pics back.
