Yesterday the girlfriend, after 4 1/2 years of living together (mortgage and all) decided to dump me. I thought she was the one.frown

One of her statement/questions (you know how women do this) was "I think you actually prefer your car to me"..... yes

....well how else was I supposed to answer that! yesbiggrin

I guess being a petrolhead is in your blood, other things just come and go.

Yay!

She understood you, even if you didn't understand her.

Oh, well - plenty more fish, and all that ....

It took for years for her to realise that????????

Just an excuse mate, she is probably getting the back doors kicked in at work. Anyway after such a lame reason you are better off without her.

It's more a case that if you can't turn your car on you know its not your fault, it's a problem and with a bit of nounce you can fix it.

OP. Around 5 years is the usual these days, that loving feeling wears off and they think that means something. O_o

In my experience they are usually looking for the next head over heels I'm in love hit of hormones... then in another five years they'll realise they're back to square one, only older.

Have an early midlife crisis, buy a porsche and date girls half your age, or a close to 18 as is legal - which ever applies
