Hmmmm, hooning around mountain roads and getting pi$$ed every night. Definitely has merit.

Need to sort a brave enough passenger out but I could be up for this.

CarZee & Daz,

I am one of the organisers of this trip. If you would like any further information about the trip, including any pictures from previous editions, let me know.

Spain is just a fantastic place for such a trip and we have picked a route you will love.

Hope you will be able to join us in September.

Now you tell us!!!
Put me down for next year... I'm booked in for Eurohoon at the end of this September but given a choice over Spain or Rest of Europe... well, Spain's gonna get my vote every time and again!

Hmm. I will be in the Pyrenees this summer too. Unfortunately my date range is fixed and nowhere near the dates mentioned....bah...

Still...since I am going in July I may be able to do some "reconaissance" of the route for Daz and Zee...

Al,

Our routes for 2005 will be confirmed later this year, but here is a preview of what we are preparing:

Early June: 10 days crossing Spain from Bilbao to Granada via Siguenza, Cordoba, Sevilla and Ronda.

Late June: 7 days around North Eastern Spain via Siguenza, Alcaniz and Tortosa.

Mid-July: 7 days around the Pyrenees. Different stops from this year, but we will make sure we include this year's favourite roads.

Early September: 7 days around Western Spain via Avila, Merida, Tordesillas and Limpias.

Dates and routes will be confirmed later this year and we will start taking bookings after September. Keep an eye on the PistonHeads calendar for details as they become available. I will also post further messages here when I can.

I'm with Al on this one!

Sounds like a good 'un for next year.

SI there a mailing list we can subscribe to - I'm a bugger for missing booking dates and details, so an e-mail when tours become availablye would be very nice!

Would that include the back road from Granada down to the coast by any chance!

That takes you within three quarters of an hour of our place in Nerja... I'm taking the car back down to Spain again next year soooo if I don't do the full trip might well be on for a beach meet

This clashes with the TVR Massive at Cardiff!

Lots of swear words because this is exactly what I'd be up for, and its the right money too. Swear words again.

If you can't make this there's always EuroHoon.

Oh no it isn't - it's £1000 or thereabouts, if you (like most of us) are willing to share a room. Get your name down NOW!!

Sorry, but you're wrong. Eurohoon, two people sharing a car, £1950. Pyrenees trip, two people sharing a car £1050.

Thats £900 extra for Eurohoon, allowing for the fuel bill being similar.

Hang on maggit. The £1050 you quote does not include getting to Bilbao. ie ferry or Eurotunnel then drive through france + toll fees.

At todays exchange rate quoted on yahoo finance 0.668 euros to the pount the advertised cost of the pyrenees trip is:

With Ferry: 2,000 euros = £1,336.
Make own way to Bilbao: 1,500 euros = £1,002

The eurohoon price you quyote does include the cost of getting across the English Channel.

As you're a Porsche fan, I'll let you off. The TVRCC are organising a doo at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff for the weekend of September 25/26, hoping to fill the stadium with TVR's. Together with a fistfull of other events in the locality.

EUROHOON PRICES:-

Two people sharing one car and a double/twin room each night: £1,950
One person, one car, single room each night: £1,600
One person, one car, prepared to share a twin room each night: £1,000

Includes Eurotunnel, 3 nights' meals B+B in luxury hotels. Not a bad price if you don't mind sharing.
