Same old same old.

It's been "ready to kick off" for decades.

On the positive side, a new Korean war could mean a new series of M.A.S.H. smile

Thought there was a story on the news the other day about Kim the tiny handing over to Son number 1. Maybe he wants the party to off with a bang.

This sounds more like 'Mother Russia' flexing her muscles and letting us all know that she is still 'there' and 'involved' and it's just not China and the US with fingers in this particular pie.

Russia is making money again and would like to occupy the position it did during the Cold War where it had influence. Look at the continuation of surveillance flights over the North Sea, tracking of western nuclear subs and the control of gas to Western Europe as further evidence of their aims.

Son number 3 - apparently he considers numbers 1 & 2 to be too easy-going.

Yes. T-90 tanks and S-300 surface to air missiles to south korea, all sorts of old junk to north korea.

How to win a war? Sell weapons to both sides!

I don't think the South has much Russian equipment. Most of their foreign stuff is from the US, unsurprisingly.

I dont think they have any at the minute. Dont forget Greece gets a lot of its stuff from the yanks but bought S-300 too. It is pretty decent.

That is a theory behind the sinking of the Corvette - one of the sons decides he needs to make a point so gets a Sub commander to sink a South Korean ship to show dad he means business.
