Just managed to get hold of a steering wheel and pedals for the Xbox. Only problem is I don't have anything suitable to put it on.

Can anyone suggest a good stand or chair that will take both the wheel and pedals without spending £300+ on a Playseat etc.

Haven't got one but these tend to get quite good reviews http://www.wheelstandpro.com/

I have a fanatic wheel stand pro, which is very similar to the one posted above.. I only use it for my spare/console wheel, but it works well. They do wobble a bit though which is why i still use my desk for my pc and g25 set up.

I have one of these, and it's worth all the money I paid. It's amazing, and the only thing I could find to use on a normal sofa. Folds up nicely for storing out of the OH's way.

I'm also kind of interested in these, my cockpit is great but really gets in the way and really could do with it's own dedicated monitor/tv.

I have an Xbox wheel right now but would like a new wheel (pity the only remaining wheel is the Porsche Fanatec wheel :-( which is a lot of money

In the absence of a stand, an ironing board works surprisingly well!

+1 Though it does get awkward when you get it out and are asked if you're going to do the ironing.
