Just watched the DVD of Knebworth and they were brilliant..

The best rythym section of any group ever..Bonzo and JPJ giving it big licks.

Then 2 of the best front men ever...Plant had lost his voice a bit, but was still fantastic, but Page seems to have invented every rock guitar move ever since.

Did punk cause them to be under-rated?

I dont think anyone could accuse Led Zeppelin of being UNDER rated.

I am a classic rokc fan and LZ are one of the highly rate bands of all time in the Classic Rock arena (too highly rated IMO!)

John Bonham could turn any venue into a big stadium.

He made a stairwell at Headly Grange sound like Madison Square Garden on "When The Levee Breaks".

I probably wouldn't have remembered much, but still...if only I'd not been so scared of my Dad!
