Colin Montgomery has already pre-preared a 'runners up' speech 'just in case' the USA wins next weekend.

I'm puzzeled though. As a consistent 'non-winner' (loser?) or runner up man, surely Monty shpuld have all this off pat now. He's had so much experiance of being a loser runner up after all.....?

Monty a consistent loser r u for real. So 40 tournament wins worldwide makes him a real loser, hellooooo wake up and smell the coffee.

He also has one of the best Ryder cup players records of anyone who has ever played in the event.

True his Major record has had him in runners up spot 5 times but that by no means makes him a failure. For a 7 year period was absolutely the best most consistent player in Europe, 8 order of merit titles don't happen to losers.

The majors are in no way a measure of how successful a player is as they are only 4 tournaments per year.

He will have his reasons for writing the said speech. let's wait and see what his boys do from friday, mind games and gamesmanship are all part of the ryder cup.
