With the impending release of Gran Turismo 5 (with any luck!) I'm about to flog my Xbox 360. I'm just after some guidance on price.

It's a Nov 2009 console (which is the new chipset I think?). Has a 20GB hard drive, two wireless controllers, a headset, all the cables. It doesn't appear to be HDMI compatible. I'm also looking to flog it with Foza 3 and Test Drive.

What do you think is a fair and decent price to ask for it? I was thinking the best place to sell was through Amazon Marketplace rather than Fleabay.

£60-70? I know the new quieter model is out now and comes with a much bigger HD so value for 2nd hand boxes wont be much.

£60-£70 for all of it? Would it be better selling the items as seperates?

I thought I'd read "get up to £75" for trading in an Xbox at Game, when going to buy one the other week.

Just looked on their webiste and it says to visit your local store for prices.

give Game or Gamestation a ring, they'll give you something for it

If Game are doing that I'll go there. It's still under warranty so that may count for something!

Let me check with Game first off then I'll give you a shout. I can't see it effectng the price much if I only give them one controller.

they normally break everything down individually for you - a friend has sold both his 360 and ps3 in this way, he went in with a list and they just put their price next to each one, so a few bits were sold on ebay instead biggrin

Do you have much in the way of DLC?
i think if you have some paid for content on the HDD, you may be better off selling it on ebay (+ say an extra £8 charge of changing the username for them, then wipe off your c/card details etc from that account so no personal info left).. eg. RockBand, i have c200 downloaded tracks at £1.something each, plus other arcade games.
trade the console in and i'll get nothing, but on ebay im sure that would easily add a few extra quid to the bidding.

No DLC at all. If there is it'll be from the guy whose old hard drive I bought. I've never bothered getting Xbox Live as I've only had the console since April. I bought it for Forza 3 to fill the void whilst I waited for GT5 to come out. Now my mate is hooked up to Xbox Live I tend to just play online at his place so my console tends to be left gathering dust.

CEX give a better trade in than Game in my experience and you can price up the whole lot their website which is handy.
