Oktoberfest 2011 + booked.net for hotel?

Has anyone used booked.net for hotels? Im planning Oktoberfest for next year and from the Oktoberfest website got the link for booked.net.

Found a nice hotel right by the fest to stay in, only thing is I am always cautious using websites like this. Do i need to worry? I will be paying on my credit card.

Also it says that it is a "reservation website" then after the booking I need to ring the hotel to confirm, will they be English speaking? As my german is not exactly fluent!

Only one way to find out - give the hotel a ring !! They probably will speak english as they are use to us trashing their city every September/October.
