Oh dear oh dear:

Telegraph paper said:
One receipt, for work to replace a boiler and associated work at her Luton property for more than £14,000, is from a company which is not registered. The VAT number provided on the invoice is not valid, according to HM Revenue and Customs.

The address on the invoice is residential. The builder who lives there said yesterday that he had been contacted by the police. He denied fitting a boiler for Miss Moran.
Crikey - thats pretty damning and if true would constitute fraud.... ooopppsss...

:-)

As someone who runs thousands a month on expenses, the gall and indifference that these MP's have shown is shocking. And with whats-his-face-Green saying yesterday about the billions wasted on purchasing from the government - we are getting close to November, so lets have a bonfire of the politico's? The wasteful morons who sunk the bloody country into the current pit its in.

I've said on here a few times that I want that Moran jailed.

The other Luton labour MP, Kelvin Hopkins cam eout of the expenses scandal better than most. He's only bothered staying in London when he's had a late session in Parliament and needed to be back in London early the followig morning. Averaged about 150GBP a year on hotel bills. I can cope with that. The rest of the time he'll jsut use his season ticket to get the train back home.

I still want to see that Moron jailed though.

Wasn't he the guy who also did a deal with a hotel as well? Ended up costing him £50 a night for a hotel in the centre of town. And I'm sure his expenses were £7kpa mark, all made up of the cheap hotel, and he suggested that that was a method for MPs in the future (which I tend to agree with).

Margaret Moran's expenses were nothing in comparison to my ex-MP

He used email quotes as if they were invoices and was paid the lot, plumbing, electrical work, heating.
He even had an extension on his house built "for staff" that was >£30K, and that was paid for too!

He was completely exonerated of any wrongdoing, despite being unable to prove that any of the work expensed had acutally been paid for.

Is that not the disgraced PPC for South East Cambrideshire in that picture? Doesn't John Cowan aka racingdude009 come from Norfolk where they practice Pagan arts?
