Easy cheap way - video cassette to computer???
Discussion
The only way to do it is with a tv tunercard or similar with an analogue input. There used to be graphics cards around with an input like this too but I haven't seen one for a while. It is sadly then a case of hitting play on the vcr and record on the software and will take as long as the video is in time. Longer is you then want to encode it into something smaller. You can of course take it into your high street camera shop and let them do it for you, for a fee.

Considering one of these, as the VCR died a while back.
Anyone tried one?

Cheers. That's more what I was hoping for. Although a DVD recorder also makes sense too but I don't have one of those either. Considering one of these, as the VCR died a while back.
