I've been trying to send some money urgently and Paypal refuses to, tells me I have not confirmed my bank account. That if I confirm it "I can transfer money to and from it with ease".

I recently changed my credit card registered, and it said all was good, now it tells me it is 'not confirmed'.

So, I have spent three fking days waiting for some st to be sent to my Barclaycard account with a pin number, that I need to use to confirm the card.

I have now confirmed the card.

I just tried to send some money, and it STILL tells me I need to confirm my fking bank account. i don't want my fkarsed bank account connected to Paypal, i want to use my credit card!!!

I just made a ten minute international phone call to speak to them and all I could get was a fkeyed ROBOT on the other end. who eventually told me the office is shut!!!!!!!!!

AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH bks arse fk st!!!!!!!!

Why the fk won't Paypal work the way it has for the last eight ing years???????????????? What the fk has changed now?????????????????????????????

It also tells me I need to set up a direct debit from my bank account!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Log on to your online banking and do a BACS transfer to the recipient. If you don't want to go through the business of linking your bank account to your paypal account you are always going to run into trouble doing stuff via paypal. So just skip paypal and do it through your bank.

I've phoned Paypal, and e mailed them, and they tell me it is an automatic security thing that they simply cannot override.

It is actually a power-mongering manoeuvre, so they have even more access to your financial details, more power to plough rough-shod over people, snatch money, punish people etc.

The person I'm trying to send the money to says she has had the same problem herself not long ago. Apparently Paypal are forcing everybody to register a bank, with direct debit facility, to their Paypal account.

I paid for something on paypal, they took three weeks to take the money out, by which time the balance was too low, they then disabled this method of payment and send me e-mails saying my account is in negative balance.

I tried re-adding the card/bank account (now there is money in it again) but it won't let me.

So I'm leaving it with a negative balance until they sort it out....

The utter utter utter cretins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have confirmed by credit card, as they requested.

I have now confirmed my bank account, like the retards requested.

I went in today to try and send the money, but I am limited to sending e cheques?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

So, I sent the money that way.

Two minutes later I get an e mail from Paypal telling me my account is suspended and I need to visit the resolution centre and verify all my details.

AGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I now want to fkin' kill somebody, anybody, I don't care whether they work for those shutheads Paypal or not!!!!!!

They tell me they will call me and give a pass code, to verify my account, but they won't let me change my phone number until I verify my account!!!!!!!!!

WTF????

This is what happens when you put a fkin' computer in charge. Come the day that national defence is run by a super computer, you can bet your sorry fat arses that if will be a Paypal style clusterfk, just like all the movies show!!!!!

Like other posters I'm not sure what's the issue. Why not just use your bank or western union?

Heck, you could even just next day a letter with a old fashioned check.

Dude it gets worse I just got screwed for £200 thanks to paypal. It works like this...

Ebay buyer buys item for £200
I post item, inform seller
3 weeks later seller files non receipt claim (no coms from him at all prior!)
paypal immediately take the money back and freeze my account (without any investigation)
I have to prove he received the item (not easy) all I can do is prove I posted it
Buyer continues to ignore me
paypal gives him his money back so now he has the item and the money.
I loose £200

I swear I'm not accepting inbound payments again using stpal

If you can't prove receipt, you don't actually know he received it.

Answer: ALWAYS send ebay goods using a method that requires a signature on delivery.

Send the money via bank transfer...it's free, safe and a piece of piss to do.
All you need is the recipients bank account number and sort code. There is nothing wrong with giving out these details...they were/still are printed on cheques for all to see, yet some people still think it's a risk?

If you want to use PP still just make a new account. It's what I had to do when my card was changed.

PayPal sucks, esp. it's policy on limiting accounts for the slightless things it considers "unusual activity" shoot

Anyway, my account is sort of restored, as of this morning, but I can still only send e-cheques, so once this current one clears, Paypal are bloody history!
