I bought myself a Samsung Galaxy Tab. Nice piece of kit, does ALMOST everything I need, apart from one thing which is essential for me banghead
The problem is the calendar. I use google calendar in google apps for work - it's brilliant and does everything I need WHEN USED ON A PC, need to have five different calendars displayed in one, the total per day is around 60 events.
I've tried everything I could last night. The built in app just doesn't work. When I look at a day view all I see is rows of blocks, with no description. The colours to distinguish different calendars are all messed up. There's no way to add let's say an event that repeats this week only on Thu, Fri and Sun.It's very very slow to edit, view and synchronise with this amount of events.
I think it's the problem that the calendar version is modified by Samsung. I couldn't find a way to download a generic Android calendar, how do I do it??

I've tried few free others from Android market, the best one so far was Business Calendar, but you can't delete just one single event from a repeated one, which makes is useless for me.

I've also tried accessing the calendar through a web browser, with mobile (default) version I can't edit any events, with the desktop view it's the same, the website doesn't work like on the pc plus it's very slow even on Wifi.

Is there any way around it? Do you know of any calendar for Android that offers EXACTLY the same functionality as the web based one?
I need to see the whole day on one page, with each calendar having different colour and seeing all the events names at once and being able to edit them fully.

To get hold of standard Android calendars search for: calendar apk

Linda file manager (in the market) helps install them
