Any ideas on how to change the language on outlook as currently it is in Danish. I know it is possible as my last outlook was set up in Thai. I just need someone to talk me through the steps ie click the fourth tab across, the click the sixth one down in the list etc, as I cannot understand a word.

Thanks muchly

Click 'tools' 4th tab from left

> 'options' bottom tab

> 'spelling' top left tab

Language option menu is at the bottom of the page

I clicked the 4th tab from the left but there was nothing else to click on when I clicked on what I thought was options?

Will probably depend on what version of Outlook you have but in Outlook 2003 'Tools' is the 5th menu across when viewing your Mail.

This is what I get, in Outlook 2003.

Tools | Options | Spelling (4th tab across)

If you're not seeing this, or it's greyed out, it could be blocked by policies (if you're on a corporate network).

I suspect from "I cannot understand a word" his problem is deeper than the spell-checker.

I agree, he's not trying to just change the language of the Spell Checker but the whole display language for Outlook.

You've absolutely hit the nail on the head! The whole of Outlook is in Danish and there seems to be no correlation between google translate and the foreign muck written at the top of my screen?!

It's outlook 2007 if that helps?
