Anyone else flagging recently?
Discussion
For me it's the loss of commuting that's really done it.
The dark evenings are part of it, but it's also the fact that things have been manic at work lately (a lot of late evenings where I don't feel inclined to slog up the hills, clean the bike, have a shower etc.), I've often needed to carry stuff in and I currently have a moderately severe bout of man flu too.
Ironically exactly the same thing happened last year. And now it looks like the weather may be about to intervene. I don't mind the cold - in fact on the whole I prefer it to mid summer heat - but I draw the line at snow or ice when I'm sharing the hilly local roads with the white van drivers.

Road bike rear wheel went out of true on a ride two weeks ago and haven't even managed to get it retrued yet, this is a double hit as I use this bike for my evening roller session mid week, but with money & time short at the moment there is just isn't the opportunity to get it sorted.
MTB still going strong despite picking up a puncture 5miles from home and riding it home on the rim yesterday, (Must get that No Tubes kit & some protection tyres when I get paid) Achilles tendon hurting after as I was putting my weight over the front wheel and pedalling at a strange angle.
But from doing 50miles at the weekend with 1.5-2hrs on the rollers I'm down to probably 20-25miles on the MTB max.
I must say that the muddy farm tracks near me are truly epic (must be 12" deep sludge in places), you have to get through them with out putting a foot down otherwise you're just stuck and not going anywhere, the descents are slippery as anything and you don't carry any speed or momentum anywhere. Ascents are almost like being on the rollers... great fun.

I was doing a Sunday morning run with the local club of between 50-55 miles up to two weeks ago, been a bit busy with family birthdays and the odd bit of decorating to get out since then, however, I do cycle to the station daily, it's only a three mile return ride but all up hill on the way home. I'm also putting in half hour sessions three times a week on the exercise bike on various programs, does this count?
I am planning on getting out again this Sunday morning for the club run which will be interesting after a two week break!

Went out for the last time two weeks ago... came back soaking wet and cold to the bone. Haven't been since. I need to clean my bike first and get some decent winter clothing (long trousers and a windstopper) before I go out again. Cleaning was supposed to happen last weekend, but after redoing the storage room, I coudn't be arsed to do anything else

Not yet, I'm on ~350 miles so far this month. We'll see how it goes when the weather gets really bad over the next couple of months though...
Ditto, was still managing 64 miles a week when it was -10 and thick with snow last year Quite relieved to hear the pins and needles comment above. Being a hypochondriac of massive proportions I thought I was pushing myself to the brink of a coronary the last time that happened!
