Playing a DVD on Blue Ray

Lucky me, I've set up my Christmas present already (Sony BDV-E370 Home Cinema thingy)!

I just tried my old Star Wars DVD in there and I swear it's crisper than when played in a DVD player. Any truth in this?

Yep, it should upscale your DVD to a higher res.
