Watched some of this over the weekend , i say some of it as i had to turn it off , Im not easily shocked or sickened but jesus there is a line you dont cross and this film jumped staright over it .

To sum this up , do not watch this unless you want an image that will stay with you for ever.

This was discussed before. People read the description on Wikipedia and decided there's no point in watching it

"It tells the story of a down-on-his-luck porn star who agrees to participate in an "art film", only to discover that he has been drafted into a snuff movie with child rape and necrophilic themes... the film received substantial attention for its graphic depictions of rape, necrophilia, and incest."

Child rape, corpse fking and incest, yes, those are always the qualities I look for in a film. I see why you chose it.

I just read the wiki entry and this particular line jumped out at me.

"Miloš jams his erect penis into the man's empty eye socket, killing him" hahahahahaha WHAT!!!!!!!!?!?

"Later Vukmir shows Miloš another one of his projects: a film of a man helping a woman give birth to a baby girl; the man then proceeds to rape the newborn in what the director calls "newborn porn"."

OMFG.

Watched this ages ago with a group of mates, one of whom said he had the sickest film ever and it would make us all violently ill, so naturally we all wanted to watch it. Wasn't as bad as I expected. Few cringeworthy bits, especially towards the end, but you know it's coming anyway so you just brace yourself for it!

Actually thought it was quite well acted and produced.

It's had waaaay more hype than it deserves for being something it's really not, which is a disturbing film. As said, couple of cringeworthy bits if you watch the original uncut jobbie, but that's it. Nothing spectacular once you get past the gore either, pretty pap film all in all IMO, much like most of the torture porn genre it's just an endless pi$$ing contest to see who can get the most blood and gore scenes in a film and string them together with a weak plot.

Watched it and didn't think much of it. It is pretty sick but some of the scenes are ludicrous and you can see what is coming up a mile off. To be fair it does actually have a storyline you can follow though and I could watch it from start to finish without getting bored.

I've watched it too, it's really not all that shocking, neither is it particularly 'realistic' in the scenes that would serve to shock the most.

It does. By the sound of it, viewing it is an offence in the UK.

They've just released this to the UK, no?

I heard they cut 6 minutes out of it in total.

And according to http://www.melonfarmers.co.uk/latest.htm they have removed the activity involving children for the UK release.

Indecent images of a mannequin of a baby being pretend shagged by an actor does not appear in that document.

I have seen it and TBH if they have cut out 6 minutes of the most brutal bits then there is no point watching the UK version.

I would imagine the legislation that covers it is public decency as opposed to specific child protection law.

A film with a poor plot that tries too hard to be shocking and in the process just becomes tedious and repetitive in the way the 'scenes' are presented to the viewer
IMHO

I've yet to watch something and turn off mid way through
