Defragmenter virus Help please

My pc is infected with the defragmenter virus, my IT guy is away for 2 weeks,can I remove this myself?

Qiuck google suggests it's another one of the scam /spam non viruses of the antivirus 2001 variety - looking to cash in on some malware .

If it's anything like the fake antivirus stuff - I fund Superantispyware gt rid of most of it ,followed up by malwarebytes .

Thanks for your help everyone,I was able to remove this virus with the malwarebytes download.
