Sticking bezel

The bezel on my watch rotated fine on my watch till last night when some dick started throwing beer all over the place and now it's hard to turn and when it turns it feels odd. Guessing is got beer that's gone sticky behind the bezel. Has anyone got any tips on anything I can use to lubricate it? Or would putting it in a bit of soapy water do the trick. It's a citizen divers watch and says it's 150 meters water resistant but the guy I bought it from says it's been in storage since the 90s so a bit unsure if it's still water tight.

I have the same problem with my Orange Monster.

Usually I find running it under some hot water sorts it out for a while. Might also try a little bike lube on it to see if it helps too.

Hot tap, lube in any form will turn it into a crap magnet.
