Facebook - How Does This Happen?
Discussion
So, the Mrs, has over the last couple of weeks, been having 2 or 3 telephone conversations with a possible client who is interested our business. Today, on Facebook, he was suggested, by Facebook, as a friend. This guy is not a friend of any of her friends and he hasn't approached the Mrs to become a friend himself. How does this happen?

Does she have his e-mail address stored as (if allowed by the user) facebook will check your e-mail address book, msn contacts etc and then show up any people that you have in there as a friend suggestion.
st...that's scarey. She has sent him e-mails but how can Facebook be allowed to do that? I'm not exactly sure how it works it was just a guess at how he appeared on her suggestion list, Facebook tends to share a lot of things that some people don''t realise.
I'm not sure what the default security settings but I would get to her to check her settings, click on account -> privacy settings -> customize settings. From here you can control what it shares with who.
