The little boy in me really wants a pair of these but I can't find anywhere to go and have a look at them in the flesh. Has anyone seen / got a pair?

Head up display (apparently looks like it's 6 feet in front of you), GPS location, speed, altitude, temp and vertical odometer

"So, what did you hit?"

"Dunno, but I can tell you I was doing 47KPH and it was minus 5."

So do you have to plug in a GPS system or is it built into the goggles?

P.S. When can we expect a software upgrade to include collision avoidance radar or targeting scanners? biggrin

GPS is completely built in - you can then download later to a PC. Apparently the next software upgrade is to load piste maps into the googles but not sure haow far away that is. That would be cool.

I reckon the next iteration will have a camera as well.

It's a shame it's not a proper head up display, and is just a small LCD frown

Very tempted. I'm living up a mountain at the moment with a ski resort 15 mins away, would definitely get use out of them.

They look pretty cool too. But do they keep the cold and wind out? They look open

That's cool..... i cant help but feel a little pointless though, unless all you really care about in the world is how fast you are going, and you dont have a watch or a phone to tell you the time/date.
