I believe the answer is you can't permanently.
It would seem that BT have not included an option within the settings (even the advanced ones) where you can manually chance the NAT settings.
There is a temporary workaround though. It would seem that the homehubs have open NAT as part of their default settings so a hard reset will change the NAT from strict to open. However when the router receives a software update from BT it would seem that this is reverted to strict.
So the answer is everytime you have issues just hard reset the router.
