I could have sworn that car was a model in the standard photo displayed, rear to right, front to left, side profile viewed next to the plants. The engine photo and price corrected me.

Just noticed that if you click the VIN you can get a vehicle history report for $4.99. They give an example of a dummy report which looks damn good value to me compared to the cost of an HPI check or similar over here.

Sounds good when you see the LT5s been rebuilt at 55,000 miles but when you see the 150k that means the rebuilt lumps now done 95k.

Colour sounds horriffic (maybe they got it wrong) and the seller admits it smokes a bit on startup (probably means smokes a lot then).

Like anything you'd have to see it. May be a case of a real good usable car that someone's actually bought to drive (yes!) rather than cossett in a heated garage and bring it out every spring and break something 'cos the car hasn't been used for 6 months... (yawn).

Sounds like a good usable Z, could be a real bargain (if such things exist) that may go for next to nothing as most people will run a mile when they see those miles.

Cheapest 180 mph car you can buy???

Holy trivia Batman - front wheels are on correctly, rears are on backwards.

Would say it's worth a look but it couldn't be any further away could it?

Looks like no-one is interested (1 bid)...

Malc your too sharp ,one thing going for this car is the paint work is in exceptional condition for the age and mileage.

What would the price be in £££'s at the current bid to bring this car to the UK out of interest.

I can see you're thinking of bunging in another low mileage engine into your Sierra !

If it went for $10,000 it looks so cheap even a member of the Green Party might buy it.

But anyone who'd let it go for that would have to be a real deperate dan.

An LT5 in Stock form should do a lot more than 100,000 (from what ive been told and read),so to need a rebuild at 55,000 and then to smoke another 95,000 miles later makes you wonder if its being serviced properly, oil changes, oiltype and regular top-ups.
Just a thought.

It could be, as he claims, down to there being no valve stem seals and the oil is just running down the valve stems when the car is parked. Question is, how much smoke ?

That car also has the most dirt on the LT5 that I have ever seen.
