If they use tax payers money efficiently and keep council tax as low as possible then I say pay them several million. The problem is they don't and are just being rewarded for failure year after year.

A company executive has to bring money in, and spend it wisely. A council executive only has to do the latter, for the money will come in regardless.

A company is run for the benefit of its owners not the general public.

There's isn't a simple right answer to the point the OP is making.

Do you ever actually offer any kind of solution to anything or do you just sit their whinging?

Do you do that at work aswell or are you actually productive there?

Provide a meaning to your shallow little life? What you you have to do without following me around the internet all day?

I thought you might have learnt that simplistic solutions to complicated problems don't work.

No, you don't own your local council.

Can't you see a difference between a commercial organisation and a public sector organisation? They exist for different purposes.

You wouldn't say that if you were a SSDC council tax payer like I am. I was wondering where the money was going.
