Apologies if this has been covered, but Search is down for maintenance & I am bvggered if I'm going to go through 179 pages.
I reckon the series is fantastic, helps me recall the days in London as a kid on steam trains - loved the smoke belting past the windows. This is why when we go caravanning we ultimately choose a site where we can access steam train journeys.
I think Mr Portillo does the series great justice - his delivery is superb and he is so polite to the people that he speaks to. IMHO just the right man for the job.
