These 'design and sell your own clothing/gifts' websites...

Thinking about doing a few t-shirt designs to sell on a couple of my websites. Has anyone got any experience of using these websites like CafePress, or Zazzle? Ideally I want to design the merchandise myself (obviously), advertise it on my own websites, but have checkout and order fulfilment taken care of by the merchandise company.

I've had t-shirts made before and these companys always seem to be a complete rip off. You're better going to the manufactures and getting it done. I'm sure I've seen some people on here that do it.

Unfortunately manufacturers don't normally operate in a similar fashion. I just want to create the design, select the sizes and clothing item and start selling. If I go to manufacturers they'll want me to have minimum orders and all that stuff.

I'm not too worried about making huge profit margins on the items, I just want to be able to offer the service, my customers to have a good buying experience and any small margin on top will be a bonus.
