Hi all, I am using Streamline.net for my hosting and email accounts. Basically, one of my accounts has it its 20 MB mailbox limit. I was under the impression that as all the emails went to a hard drive there would be no space taken up on the mail server?

Please advise on the next course of action.

Sounds like you're using IMAP not POP3. IMAP means all of the data is stored on the server and sync'd across your devices. POP3 MOVES it from the server to your devices.

You'd need to change the account type. What client are you using?

I bet it's not a 20MB limit - rather, you've been warned of a hitting a 20*GB* limit. By a phisher, who wants you to visit a form and fill in your username/password in order to reset it?

Don't, would be my advice ...

(I run a mail system that has been plagued by these lately. Users who fill in the form find their account quickly used to send spam)

If you have hit the 20MB limit on Streamline you just need to log onto the mailbox control panel for that account and tick the option to upgrade the account to 50MB.
