Laptop stands/coolers
Discussion
I have a 17" laptop and am looking to buy a stand for it. I like the idea of an incline-able one to stand at the back of my desk as a lot of my work seems to be paper in front of me, using laptop screen, mouse and second screen.
Also after it's been working hard for a while it gets rather hot and would like some additional cooling.
The problem I've come across so far is that most seem to be 15"ish in size (unstable?) and ones with built in fans seem to have the fan in the centre. My laptop only gets particularly hot in the back left corner (processor fan vent is around 2-3" in from the corner so I'm worried a standard size cooler would cover this and so be ineffective)
Does anyone know of anything suitable that doesn't break the bank too much and meet my spec?

I've been using an Akasa 17 inch aluminium laptop cooler and i've found it fine in use. I also place a Belkin laptop cushion thingy under that when I'm using the latop whilst on the sofa, when I use the study desk, then just the Akasa. I think I paid around £30 for it 4 years ago, i think they pop up on ebay every so often too.
I'm sure there's other's on the market now.. I haven't looked as thing thing has lasted and worked well for me!
Cheers, Dennis!
