Cigar Restoration

When i was a young pup i got quite into my cigars and was lucky enough to visit Havana where a purchased a humidor and a nice selection of cigars.
I found that i enjoyed cigars socially with friends. Over time friends changed and the smoking ban came in and i stopped smoking. We moved house and the humidor dissapeared.
Well rooting round in the loft and i have bee reunited....
Now these cigars have been in a box in the loft for around 8 years!! The humidity was at 70% when i opened it but i guess it has been all over the place through the seasons.
The Cohibas seem to still be quite good but the rest are very dry and one or two have splits in them.
I believe you can restore cigars back to there former glory with a bit of care but i would like some pointers from those who may have done this in the past.

You should be OK with the ones that are intact. It's only really a disaster if you let them get too moist, which will destroy them forever. The lack of any mould spores on yours is encouraging. Be careful in your restoration, change the air frequently and you'll have something to look forward to in a few weeks.
