Hi all I just thought you guys might like to see some pics of our springer spaniel Ambers litter of six pups born on the 5th of March.smile

They are 7 weeks old on Sat and we have found new homes for three of them at the moment.

I have to say i will find it hard to see them go!

My wife is a Nurse so i thought she would be on hand to deliver the pups, unfortunately Amber decided to go

into labour earlier than predicted when she was working a night shift so i had to deliver them myself. eek

Threads like this should be locked during office hours, they make me sound like a tw@ and gives away that I'm doing very little work! hehe

Great looking pups, when is PH going to get a 'LIKE' button?!

I was hoping to get a Springer later this year to keep our other dog occupied but we've just found out were going to be parents at the end of the year, although i'm really happy that i'm gonna be a dad i'm gutted that i won't be able to add a springer to the household for a good while now. Looks like you've got a great litter there!

It was actually a litter of eight but two were stillborn frown apparently very common with a dams first litter.

We are going to keep "Lily" the liver and white female.

They are a lot of hard work but worth it when you see them florish, they are starting to get the hang of the paper training now! Thank god biggrin

We have some people coming to see the two black and white girls this morning coming up from east sussex who are looking for one as a working dog.

My dog Alfie as a pup being introduced to new friends 4 years ago looks very similar. Brought back good memories too!

They change so quickly though..

I take it Alfie had just been for a swim!He loves the camera too.

Another liver and white dog went today "Jango Fett" (My son loves Star Wars) being renamed Kaspar by the new owners.

So just One left now the black and white girl in the leaping pic above. She still has Lily to keep her company.smile

Not swimming but three hours digging for rabbits in the woods. Funnily enough he didn't appreciate the 'swim' in the bath afterwards to clean him up.
