I've no interest in the royal wedding, but would like to see the RAF flypast at some point. Does anyone know where they'll be flying from and at what time? I'm sure there are PHers in the know on here!

13:30L....straight up the Mall so them on the balcony get the best view.
Get an AtoZ of Town, draw a line from Buck house, down the Mall, stand pretty much anywhere on that line out to about five miles.

Oh, forgot to say, I'll be watching through my sunroof from a traffic jam on the M3, en route to Dorset! Any chance?

Wonder what planes will be in the flyby?
Easyjet and a cessna or two?

None at all. Royal Fly pasts always come in over the City.

An elite selection of Royal Pigeons, who have been trained for several months now.

Won't they be flying in from the west so you may see them on the M3(ish)?

BBMF Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricance, followed by a mixed four-ship of Typhoon and GR4.
Bit surprised the SH and SAR forces aren't making an appearance, bearing in mind they taught Will to fly.

Nope. Everything in the flypast in based in Lincolnshire, which is "Ooop Nurth".

Don't forget the fully loaded Apache's hovering near where the Islam Against Crusades lot will be protesting....partly to fan away the stench.

Complaining about the 'tyranny of Queen Elizabeth' apparently. Well they can go back to their own miserable country. Or be shot; I don't mind which.

Unfortunately, most of them are UK citizens no doubt.

They have a right to protest - but maybe they should give it a rest just for once.

I for one do not agree they have a right to protest

This country gave their families a safe place to live and thrive

Or they would have been elsewhere

Typically Most flypasts have formed up over the Wash then Head inland down the Thames before turning in to the "display Line" if you will smile
Do they fly straight or take a more scenic route? The huge flypast a year or so ago (Queen's Jubilee?) came across Suffolk just east of Woodbridge (probably went right over Ipswich).

Must check the timing of this one.

Will try and locate the link, but the BBMF will hold over Fairlops/ Hainault. The Typhoon/Tornados will hold/route via Billericay/ Fairlops. Probably south of Fairlop Station. This will probably be your first point to see all the aircraft taking part.

The last time there was a flypast (last year I think) the WWII flight flew out of London north over Regents Park.

They usually bank round to the North shortly after passing Buckingham Palace, routing out via Northolt, Benson, Brize Norton or Hendon, Brookmans Park, Barkway.

It appears that the flypast this Friday will route out Via Hendon.
