Something like this will sort it out, if the signal degrades too much after splitting it:

if it is just a standard aerial cable (coax 75 ohm etc) then you can split it and if the signal degraded too much, then you will need an amplifier as anoteh post has suggested. I have a uhf tv aerial that is split and amplified into 6 locations in the houseThe Moose said:
If you split it at the DVR and then run the cable to the PC (keeping it as short as possible), you should be ok to be honest. I wouldn't hesitate!

This but also does the Alien have BNC loop outs on the back? If it does, come off from here and you should be fine.Cheers
