So who is getting the lightning then ?

Sat here in south Devon, and it has been rumbling away for an hour or so. Haven't sen any flashes, but it sounds big? It appears to be East/South of here?

Cracking thunder storm just passed over here in east Devon. It went very dark really quite suddenly and we had the mother of hail storms, which set car alarms off.

It's been bright and warm all morning, so I imagine plenty of people were caught out - those hail stones would were big enough to be really painful!
