Dont be silly. As GC8 has stated, i would of expected some documentary evidence that she has discharged her duty or whatever....

I've actually seen & heard a taxi arguing this with plod hehe
We get 10 or so of this specific one every week.

The examples I gave are genuine claims that we see quite frequently.

Last week, we had someone trying to claim off another driver for flicking a stone up and denting her car.banghead

The one I saw did it on the wrong side of the road with his head between the seats looking for something in the rear footwell. I enjoyed the look on his face when I wandered over to inform plod of this.
Typically though, he wasn't charged with anything. Which I view as a great shame because the countless near misses I'd seen him cause (he lived down my road so I saw him try to crash a lot).

I did about a month in a claims dept as an agency worker years n years ago, I couldn't believe how stupid people are from reading the forms. How do you manage not to laugh & just call them too thick to drive?

I don't see claims forms anymore, other than the really funny ones. I don't mind if there's a bit of chuckling going on, as long as the right decision is made and communicated professionally to the customer.

Saw an old lady drive into the back of a wholesaler van parked outside the pharmacy. She got out, walked up to the driver and asked him for his insurance details as "it was his fault". She took quite a lot of convincing that it wasn't....

I'm not suggesting either. Many people believe they are completely innocent of blame, even when faced with some damning evidence. See this thread for example

In fairness, on that thread the OP accepted blame very early on.

His opening post was to see if someone could support his view that he wasn't to blame. After getting told he was at fault, he accepted it.

That hasn't stopped the debate raging still though, potentially giving him false hope.
