Spokesman for those who shall not be named said:
It is deeply concerning that so many drivers on the M62 are risking lives by breaking the speed limit. Speeding is criminal offence and a major cause of the deaths and serious injuries which take place on UK roads every single day.

We are calling on all drivers to have a heart behind the wheel and pledge to drive within speed limits at all time, helping to prevent deaths and serious injuries which cause devastation to families and communities.
Lying should be illegal!
That must have been BRAKING news when you posted it...

Since the introduction of the 40 mph average speed cameras on the M90 north of the Forth Road Bridge, just before Christmas, there have been over 3,000 Fixed Penaly Notices issued. So those of you who sit at 40 mph wondering about those who speed past, you now know what they willmight be getting in the post over the next couple of days!

M4 west - bristol stretch...
Specs along this stretch fine BUT

When branching off to M5 north, the flyover shows no roadworks or cones it is easy to speed up anticipating joining the clear M5...

...only to find a very sneaky final specs gantry just at the junction of the M5!

Is this right?

It's correct, but not necessarily just.

As long as there is no Unrestricted speedlimit sign, the temp speed limit still applies.

I thought temporary speed limits had to have regular repeater signs for the speed limit to remain in force?

We really, really shouldn't tolerate any of those behind the speed camera rackets anywhere in public service.

Throw them on the dole, every last one.
No! If we have to pay for them put 'em in jail.
