He'll be looking at the comments - I've been on PH for a while and I somehow miss most of what goes on on here. The Clique's, the arguments, the grudges etc?
Well one of them isn't scared: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...Nah, it's just a saddo who follows me around PH making jibes about it. Not enough love from his parents, I guess.
As for the subject of the OP, serves him right. Mind you, sounds like the kind of guy who'll thrive in prison and come out with more friends and ideas than he went in with, unfortunately.

I was going to post 'and you would be best placed to comment' but that sounds horrible and in no way a dig at you. I have nothing but respect for you 10ps but from your experience you probably know the set up and how it works. I have no idea, but he sounds like the sort who will be either the beater or the beaten inside. As for the subject of the OP, serves him right. I wonder why he Sambaman picked that username? Is it because of his love of the dance or perhaps the excellent car made by Talbot...
I think it’s to do with his association with VW Vans... A Volkswagen Deluxe Microbus with the highest level or trim available. The production of the Samba started in 1951 and ended in 1967.
"My Samba is like a giant, metal loaf of bread......from Germany."

Hull Crown Court heard Turner, the owner of VW Relics Ltd in Elvington, became controlling and obsessively jealous about the victims’ former partners soon after starting to see the women, who he met online through a shared interest in cars.
hopefully not our lady Phers I genuinely don't know the words for someone like this, except to express my profound gratitude that he's been brought to some sort of justice.
To the women who've survived his abuse - no doubt you're reading this too - SO much respect for going through the vileness that is court, cross-examination etc. to bring this to the right conclusion. Hope you've got enough support now that it's all more-or-less over.

I rather foolishly stepped into argument in which he called another Pistonheads members wife ugly, I tried to defend said member but the amount of aggression I received from Sambaman and his fan club was sickening.
It seemed that his these people loved him because they wanted to be seen as online friends with someone with a nice car.
That other member was myself. I believe arguments are lost already when you have to resort to such, so was quite comical in a way.It seemed that his these people loved him because they wanted to be seen as online friends with someone with a nice car.
Alas I think I'd much prefer to be in my situation that that of Keith Turner (Sambaman).
Is it just me, or was it obvious that the bloke was a primo tool from his tasteless choice of blingmobile, and the fact that he had a brand new car resprayed? It is striking that, amongst certain sections of PH, possession of a tarted up superhoonermobile that costs a lot to look rather cheap brings instant stardom and a string of admiring boy-groupies, who may have posters of such cars in their rooms at mum's house, outside which they park their chavved up Saxos and Corsas.
My work sometimes brings me into contact with people who, despite no apparent taste, style, decency, or even much in the way of brains, have enough low cunning to do very well in some kinds of business, or at least to run up a footballer-ish lifestyle mainly on credit. Trollope's great novel "Vanity Fair" skewered such characters in the early C19, and they haven't changed much since then.

Mate's just pointed out something particularly unpleasant.

Might have been an attempt at recreating one of the murder scenes from the (nasty!) Tarantino film 'Deathproof' in which the perpetrator kills several women in a broadly similar fashion.Gassing Station | Speed, Plod & the Law | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
