I thought it was a bit far fetched. Sounds like his throat had been slit, maybe karma had court up with him.

Never underestimate the ingenuity of devious people with lots of time on their hands...
Having heard of people deconstructing watches to use the spring as wire for the plug socket it does not surprise me about ingenuity, but the biology and physics involved boggles the mind and i can assure you if i was intending to depart this World at my own hand trying to slit my own throat is most certainly not an option i would be looking to explore unless i wanted it to be very uncertain as to success and very certain as to pain and suffering.

There was a report on the BBC local news website on Monday about an inmate, not sure it was the same prison, who had been murdered by another inmate slitting his throat, but according to the article that happened sometime on Sunday which I think was after Mr PH guy died, but I could be wrong about the timing.

That's the one. Just wondering if people are confusing this with S-man.

I heard it locally the day before his death was announced.

Indeed - different prisons and opposite ends of the country I think.

Considering the horrible way in which this man appears to have died, people might consider reigning-in the ish ‘no loss’ comments.

He wasn’t a great person, but I wouldn’t like to share a long distance flight with most of you, either.

Have a look on the mirror and think on.

Considering the horrible things he's done, people might consider not having any sympathy for him.

Probably not many on here who have beat up numerous women on more than one occasion, why should how he died demand sympathy?

Ok, looked in mirror. This career criminal repeatedly beats up people weaker, lies cheats and steals.

Still no loss.

If anyone is ish, it’s him.

Maybe you could have just a little thought for his victims, rather than jumping to his defence.

Assuming they still do the same canteen service they did a few years back you can order things like razors, lights, cigs, toiletries etc. All it takes is a biro or toothbrush, a lighter, a multi blade razor and a bit of time. I saw some great shanks including ones where the blades were spaced out with the intention of making it harder to stitch up the victims cuts.

Nah - I’m comfortable with my comments and tbh he must have been a complete and utter tool inside too as thousands of people go to jail every year for a range of serious offenses and don’t end up being killed.

It wasn't him though, he died in a different prison before the other guy was murdered according to the press reports, so we can all stand down.

Well, it's not nice to speak ill of the dead.
Not excusing him for what he did. But no need to be a knob about it, y'know?
