A little refresher from 04th July:

Or perhaps because G4S don't have rapier missiles, etc?

This might be why the army is involved, rather than your earlier assertions. I respectfully suggest that it concerns olympic security.

RH
Rovinghawk said:
You talked about the army being involved- I've given a pretty good reason why rather than because you don't like G4S.

RH
Elroy Blue said:
The army was mentioned because they are having to step in because G4S cannot meet a contract to provide suitable personnel at Olympic venues. It doesn't have the slightest connection to missiles. Why don't you post a picture of a tank in Iraq, it's got as much relevance.
Rovinghawk said:
Again, I respectfully suggest that the army has a strong connection to the olympic security arrangements as they not G4S have missiles.

RH
Does all that ring a bell.

On 04th July, I stated the army were to be deployed because G4S didn't have the personnel. You then accused me of talking nonsense. It was all because only the army had Rapier missiles.

I seem to have been right don't I. You however, were spectacularly wrong.

This is not correct. I at no time mentioned air to air missiles. If you can show that this happened I will donate £100 to the air ambulance- if you cannot then I will accept an apology but still call you a liar.

RH
'Rapier missiles etc'
How about £50?

You do yourself no favours with this nonsense about missiles. To try and make out the EB is liar because he stated you mentioned air to air missiles when what you actually mentioned was rapier missiles is disingenuous, pathetic and only serves to further undermine your credibility.

I'd say the Air Ambulance (county of your choice) would welcome your donation.

Missiles are missiles whether they are ground based air defence systems or air to air systems. The Army have both in any case. (Army Air Corps use air to air on helo's). Your assertion and the point in question still stands.

If you expect anybody to take you seriously on the SP&L forum and engage you in any way in future I'd say pay up. It is for a good cause in any case.

Proof of payment would obviously be expected.

Be true to your word. It is the right thing to do.

They always have in the past.

RH, apologies for the profanity, however...

fk me, are you bring a tool on purpose?

That really beggars belief. Could you twist things any more?

No doubt you'll now bleat about personal insults, which you certainly like to hand out, but don't seem able to get your head around being on the receiving end of.

Would you be of diminutive stature?

Don't bother answering, you've bored me enough.

No mention of the word 'fibbing' here... It's 'liar' is it not?

Just a second-

Is someone organising a coup?

17,000 troops. All pissed-off with Government cuts, 3,500 upset over cancelled leave.
Add in the Special Forces and Police units.

One Royal Navy Helicopter Carrier with attending vessels. All pissed-off with Government cuts.

RAF Typhoon jets on standby. All pissed-off with Government cuts.

MI5 and MI6 stretch "to breaking point" preparing for the Games.

Missiles (air to air or otherwise). Tanks. Armoured cars. Probably artillery.

And Parliament conveniently in recess before the Olympics start and not due back until a month after it's over.

I'm intending to be out of the country during the olympics.

Not necessarily. The government would hardly own up to such things especially as it's easy to blame G4S. G4S maybe willing to accept a little bad publicity in return for future contracts.

Just because it's reported in the media it doesn't necessarily make it the truth.

I actually believe you are correct but there is definitely more to it than we are hearing.

No need for apologies.

But do not expect me to engage you on any matter in the future. I, unlike you, am true to my word.

You have shown yourself for what you are. The Air Ambulance charities are a very worthy cause. To make yourself appear charitable by offering a donation to them if you were proved wrong (you were) and then choosing to renague on this is despicable.

You are a troll of the highest order. Hang your head in shame.

ps. Regards anything concerning the police, law, courts and the legal system you really are an empty vessell. Have a nice life.

ON a happier note, G4S are having to stump up for the costs of the deployment of the troops and stand to make a loss of up to £50 million on the Games contract.

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.
