To summarise:

OP has cards that are not valid unless signed. His are not signed so he cannot use them. He cries and claims it is "because I iz black". End of a pathetic story.

Can't stand people that don't play by the rules then claim discrimination and, as already stated, the OP has just made it that little bit harder for those that truly are the subject of discrimination.

I feel for the OP's child with such a role model. frown

If this is what you summarised from OP's post, you must have failed in school although I recognize that you then went on to start your plumbing business and ended up becoming a powerfully built company director in true PH fashion. I respect you for this.

I truly feel for your mother.

What you say about my mama?

/Menace II Society

You're ridiculous, OP.

ETA - Can we have a vote on whether OP should tell us what it is about his appearance that causes his shabby treatment? If you want him to say, please say 'Aye' or '+1' or something vote-esque. This is ridiculous trolling otherwise.

I've fallen foul of my own rule to not feed the troll, which is the only thing I've failed at in relation to this thread.

Your language (on PH and elsewhere) befits the stereotype of someone that I have described, you have constantly refused to explain the victim-chip on your shoulder and why you think you were discriminated against, ergo my conclusion is natural and, I suspect, correct.

But OP, it is quite clear in the terms and conditions of any cards I have ever had that you are required to sign the cards as soon as you get them, and many firms ask you to phone a number to activate.

Sales people used to be, and presumably still are, rewarded for spotting dodgy cards and getting them out of circulation, someone turning up with loads of unsigned cards would have rung far more alarm bells than any personal appearance non-issues.

OK some some of the punters on here are being somewhat knobby, ignore them and stop being so bloody precious. You seem to make a big thing about wanting to draw out 2000 gbp or have some other similar amount in your account. So what, I carry that amount of cash around some times as spending money.

Move on and stop protesting too much.

If it is a race or colour issue, the claiming the "is it cos I is black" card as done so many just gets the backs up of people who are genuinely colour blind. Example the motorist on the M1, opening line of "you only stopped me coz I is black." Responded to by "No sir, I stopped you because you were driving a vehicle up an unlit motorway in the early hours of the morning with absolutely no vehicle lights working."

Or the girl who came for a job interview, utterly inappropriately dressed, completely unqualified and uninterested, clearly made a sexual proposition to the interviewer in return for employment, who then claimed she didn't get the job solely on grounds of race.

FFS!

per Disastrous' request for a poll :aye: +1 as they say round here.

That's hilarious.

What you actually are is a victim though. Sorry! The good news for you though, is that I'm saying that from an objective position, rather than because of your appearance so you know you aren't being judged unfairly!

Are you gay in respect of your sex pre or post transggender surgery? eg. were you a man, now a woman, who fancies men. That would make you straight.

Or are you, in fact, just fking mental? (and an attention seeker doing great disservice to anyone who has suffered true discrimination).

Actually the OP is partially right in this, many Americans don't sign the signature strip, but they don't leave it blank like the op, they will write something in it to refer to photo ID such as "see photo ID"

Its funny though how the op thinks he is discriminated against because of his looks, has absolutely refused to tell us what this look is and yet half of PH thinks he's a knob without the benefit of knowing what we should be discriminating against. This seems to suggest the OP wasn't discriminated against, he's just a knob, both in virtual and real life.

Agreed. I have images of him phoning the bank, refusing to identify himself and then screaming at them for discriminating against his appearance as the call centre bloke stares in bafflement at his phone.

I thought it was pretty common knowledge that anyone learning should just buy an old Honda CG125 (they're barely any slower than a fancy race-replica 125) for under a grand, as they are completely depreciation proof and you'll get all your money back once you've passed your test.
Common knowledge where? On your street? In your house? At your workplace?
Sorry sir but my instructor on the CBT forgot to tell me this. After he gave my certificate he just said ' you can now go out there are buy yourself whatever legal bike that floats your boat' He also never mentioned anything about depreciation.
Are you absolutely sure he "Forgot to tell" you or did he deliberately not tell you because of your appearance? These people disgust me.
