Part of me thinks that having peppered you, he chose not to persue you. He may have just wanted you to f k off nad you did. It might be worth keeping your head down and hoping that nothing comes of it. No cameras, you say? Were you even there?

Ive had pepper spray or it could be mace (didnt get to ask the little scumbag who did it) to the face and whilst uncomfortable and stingy its not the worst thing in the world.

Strange, I'm not saying you're wrong but you could see nothing for 20 minutes and the police officer failed to catch you?
Did you just keep running blind as far and fast as you could? If so, it must have been a pretty linear escape route and the police officer must have been distracted by others in your group....I guess.

The PAVA spray used by the British Police, forces the eyes to close and stay closed for about 20 minutes, uncomfortable but not excessively painful.

Right, a car window was smashed. The police eventually let the two others who were handcuffed go but arrested one of my friends and bailed him, he was 100% innocent although pretty drunk.

Little Butch said: the situation got heated Is this per chance under stating the situation? 5 against 2, 3 in cuffs and pava used? Little Butch said: I have Assault occasioning ABH on my record from 3 years back. If you were down here with ABH on your record and assault against an officer in court, you'd be getting a new t shirt with an HMP motif! That said our crown office would be unlikely to prosecute an assault against Police if it was in the manner you describe. Even if they did it sounds fairly low end. Is that all that's on your previous and how old are you? As mentioned before, how did you avoid the effects of the spray?

OK, well they are going to need some kind of evidence that he damaged the car. They would need to provide that evidence to the Custody Sergeant. Do you know what that evidence is?

I'm 20 years old, I've got assault occasioning abh from when I was 17 on my record which I payed a £500ish fine for and I've been cautioned for affray when I was 18. Haven't been in any trouble since and hope I don't from now on tbh! The officer never said I was under arrest and I got away as I ran instantly and the officer turned and sprayed a friend, what happened from then on I don't know as I wasn't there..

You have mentioned a couple of times that the officer never said you were under arrest. I'm not sure that is relevant. I think the fact that you pushed him is relevant.
Although I think (if you are telling the truth) it sounds like a very minor thing.
You sound aggrieved that the officer pushed you in the face, nearly over a sea wall.
If that is a genuine grievance, as has been said before, perhaps you should consider making a complaint.
Were there any independant witnesses to the face pushing?
I'm guessing not, or if there were, they are long gone.

I can think of 4 people that saw him push me by my face but like you say, no 'independent' witnesses! Do you think I should just lay low as they haven't specifically said they're coming for me next or step forward and make a complaint?
A PCSO apparently came to mine the next morning but I was out, she then went to my mates house and interviewed him and wanted to see me next but when I said to my mate on the phone that she could come round now she said she didn't have time and gave him a card for me to call and organise a time to be interviewed. I rung the number and told a bloke on the phone what happened and he said I've made contact and they don't need to see me but If they do they'll ring me... This was about 3 weeks ago and another friend has randomly been arrested today about it.

If I were you I'd report to the local police station. Hiding won't help, hopefully coming forward will look good if it does go to court.
