woman killed in rta with hired R8
Discussion
Very local to me this, and is a bad junction for accidents, but wonder what experience of fast cars is considered before someone can hire a R8?

The firm’s Facebook page advertises the V10 Spyder for drivers aged over 28 who are willing to pay £600 per day or £1,400 for the weekend hire, plus £3,000 deposit.

A 24-year-old man from Acocks Green was last night being questioned on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following the tragedy
So although your concerns are valid, it seems they don't apply here as other shenanigans appear to be at play.s3fella said:
Fleeing the scene with two old dears trapped in their car.....? What a spineless little .
Which with out making a decision on said individual with out the facts means to me, 1, drunk
2, not the person who hired it.
As always it will come out in the wash.
R.I.P to those involved, woman died near me sat afternoon not nice when its near you and on a road I travel most days.

"This is an official statement from Zadens (UK) Limited concerning the fatal accident that took place in Birmingham involving one of its cars on 26 August 2013.
We are extremely shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic incident. Our deepest sympathy and condolences go out to the family of the bereaved and the injured parties still in hospital and/or recovering.
We would confirm that appropriate operating procedures were followed in hiring out the car; in particular our condition (adopted after due regard to accident profiles) that hire is only made to drivers of 28 years of age, or older for super cars was duly followed.
We regret to inform that the individual driving the vehicle at the time of the accident was not the individual to whom the car was hired and was thus driving without our express authority.
As the matter is now subject to due investigation we will not be commenting further on the incident.
The accident has been reported upon by the Birmingham Mail link: http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/local-news/ha... "

Welcome to birmingham!I've said this here before but I reckon if we jailed everyone here not driving with correct insurance we would lose half of our population from certain parts of the city overnight!
The place gets more and more like a third world hell hole every year.
