Isnt the point being missed here? Surely everyone knows what the OP was driving but the joshing and piss-taking stems from the fact that it makes no difference what he was driving (and because dont like the apparent pointless boasty nature of this)?

Received the nip this morning and after discussing the matter with the Police using number providesd they have advised that I complete the form and put a letter explaining the circumstances . They will look at the photograph and check their records and she advised that it was normal that in such circumstances that they will not prosecute. Note the recorded speed was 46 mph. Watch this space.

Sincerely hope that is the case and you dont get prosecuted. I will continue to do all I can (safely) to get out the way of police/ambulance and fire and accept the associated risk. i would be annoyed to get points for doing it, but i still would.colinc01 said:

Please do report back.As well as ongoing teasing, there is an onging discussion in here about moving for police and whether the resulting camera tickets are upheld or binned.
